Jr. Business Analyst
Bold Penguin is an insurance technology (Insurtech) company focused on providing innovative technology solutions that help insurance agents do their jobs more efficiently. As a technology-first company, we’re innovating in an old and often considered “dull” space—commercial insurance. But we’re doing something about it. We built an online tool that helps simplify the process of buying and using business insurance.
Exceptional customer service is at the core of what we do—for both businesses searching for insurance and the agents servicing them. We consider ourselves matchmakers. Not only do we match the business with their best-fit agent, but we also improve and smooth out the exchange of information between the two. All of which also benefits the insurance carrier.
We began as a startup, so we understand the importance of a strong office culture while also embracing our growth and continually improving our process. We value our employees and consider every member of the team as a decision maker; both in their career trajectory and in the company.
We’re in search of team members that are comfortable with spending the day on the phone talking to prospective clients while always looking for ways to improve our call cadence, scripts, and ways to connect with both prospective clients and agents.
You will be responsible for vetting and verifying businesses that come to our platform looking for commercial insurance. Once you collect data and verify their intent, you will transfer the business to a matching agent—a process that continually improves with machine learning. As a verification team member, attention to detail is paramount as you will verify a specific data set in order to ensure an accurate match for the customer.
