COLUMBUS, OHIO, December 7, 2021 – Bold Penguin recently announced the completion of its rollout of Westfield workers’ compensation (WC) and SureStep® business owner’s policy (BOP) products on the Bold Penguin Terminal. Westfield is one of the country’s most highly regarded property and casualty carriers, and its addition to the Bold Penguin ecosystem will make it faster and easier than ever for independent agents across the United States to quote and bind WC and BOP policies from one of the most recognizable names in insurance.

Bold Penguin provides the world’s largest commercial insurance terminal, connecting thousands of independent agents with the country’s top carriers and specialty insurers. The company partnered with Westfield in response to inquiries from independent agents eager to access Westfield’s products through the Bold Penguin ecosystem.

“At Bold Penguin, we work hard to keep our ear to the ground and act on the feedback we get from our partners, and one thing we’ve consistently heard from our agents is that they want access to Westfield policies on Terminal,” said Jim Struntz, Bold Penguin’s Chief Operations Officer. “Westfield puts a strong emphasis on the independent agent channel, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. Giving our agents easy access to a familiar carrier that they’re excited to work with made partnering with Westfield an easy choice for us.”

Westfield has been writing insurance for more than 170 years and offers business, personal, farm/agribusiness, and specialty insurance, and surety bonds. The company’s addition to the Bold Penguin ecosystem enables it to meet their agents where they are and immediately tap into non-traditional markets and a wider pool of independent agents while furthering the agent-first focus that it’s so widely known for throughout the industry.

“Westfield is committed to making it fast and easy for our agents to quote and issue business with us. And that means meeting our agents where they’re already transacting business and offering products that meet the evolving needs of small business customers’,” says Eddie Riveiro, Vice President of Small Business, Business Development and Portfolio Underwriting for Westfield. “We’re pleased to partner with Bold Penguin to enable our agency partners and help bring even more value to customers.”

Westfield’s full workers’ compensation and SureStep® business owner’s policy lines are now available to independent agents utilizing Agent Terminal.
