Bold Penguin presents the second installment of The Bold Brief, volume 2 – a recap of recent Bold Penguin innovations, carrier updates, and educational tools. We are thrilled to share these resources as a partner in your success.
The redesigned carrier appointments dashboard gives users a clearer, more intuitive view of their appointment statuses. The updated layout provides a real-time snapshot view of activated and pending appointments, now organized by appointment type in a streamlined, tiered display.
Users can now quickly identify which carriers are active in their Terminal, which appointments are pending, and which carriers offer sub-appointments or can be activated with a current direct appointment. Simplified navigation filters further improve efficiency, making carrier appointment management more seamless and actionable.
The Terminal quote page has been redesigned with a cleaner, more intuitive layout. Users can now easily compare quotes side by side and sort or filter policies by price, making it quicker to identify the most suitable coverage.
Additionally, carrier bridge links have been added to the quote page for certain ineligible quotes, when supported by the carrier. For declined quotes or those requiring further action, a “Review With Carrier” button may appear on the quote card, providing direct access to the carrier portal. These links enable users to view and capture declination details, download required forms for E&S submissions, or resume quotes that were incorrectly categorized, eliminating the need to rekey information and streamlining the quoting workflow.
Terminal users can quote Chubb’s cyber coverage, with limited questions, for any business under $25M in revenue through their new "IQ Flow.” Also, an additional 4,000+, in-appetite, NAICS codes have been added to the Terminal.

Bold Penguin has once again been recognized as among the best places to work by Columbus Top Workplaces. That includes building on a ‘whatever it takes’ culture to support our customers, agents, partners, and teammates. We have a great team of experts and collaborators on the glacier. I am really proud to be part of it and psyched for the team for this recognition. Be Bold (and have some fun doing it)," stated Peter Settel, Bold Penguin’s President and CEO.
