Before joining Bold Penguin, Poucher held leadership roles at two high-growth insurtech organizations. At First Connect, he was among the earliest leaders building a reimagined digital aggregator and wholesaler focused on bringing innovative insurtech products to the independent agency channel — a business that achieved a successful exit within 18 months. At Coterie Insurance, he helped lead distribution growth while maintaining disciplined, profitable underwriting, contributing to the company’s ability to secure multiple funding rounds and scale its small business insurance model.
